One Cabin.
Two Families.
Three Days of
Un-Four-gettable Fun
with the Wilcox's.

You would think a snow-packed week with our four children, the Wilcox's five, and visiting pals the Clawson's five would have led to serious bouts of cabin fever. Nay, we say. *
The children played, and played, and played.
The mama's talked, and talked, and talked.
It was a wonderful vacation.
*
And then there was...John.
Dear, John.

*
He pushed our ice-bound car across two lanes of traffic.
Slipped on the snowy cabin drive, falling flat.on.his.back.
Wiped out on the ski slopes.
Lost his iPod while shoveling our car out of a snow drift.
*
And smiled all the while.
*
Is it any wonder that the drive home included
twenty minutes of musing upon moving to California?
The miracle snowman.
